Fulufjället June 2019

In early June (2019) I visited Fulufjället National Park in the southern part of the Scandinavian mountain range. The mountain rises in the landscape as a plateau that has steep sides and is flat on top. The Njupeskär waterfall is the highest in Sweden, cascading a total of 93 meters with a free fall of 70 meters. The trip offered beautiful land- and waterscapes in extremely varying weather. The Slavonian grebe was found during a short stop over at Åsbotorpsjön in Västergötland. A collection of photos is posted here. Here you will find links to photos by my travel mates Per B. Svensson and Leif Bolding.
