In early February, a buzzard was knocking at the window of one of the local residents in Raadvad. It was ruffled and hungry. It was lovingly taken care of, and at the end of February it began to hunt in the woods around the village. The plumage of the bird suggested that it had been in a clash with a cat, fox or goshawk. Perhaps it has been in human care and thereby built up a certain confidence, which gave some unique opportunities to get really close to the otherwise very shy species. Here you will find my close-up portraits of the beautiful young bird.
